I am so lucky to be able to work with people who want to make positive changes in their lives by clearing clutter. I am always delighted to hear from clients about how the experience was for them.
Here are some recent testimonials
I asked Kirsty to help me with clearing out our garage as we are about to embark on a house renovation project. Having lived in our house for 5 years and using the garage as a dump, the prospect of clearing it was daunting.
Having Kirsty there to effectively coach me through each item, in a logical manner, asking me questions as we progressed was actually liberating.
It helped me to understand why it was important to me to keep some items but also made me realise that I could let go of others without an emotional reaction. After 2 hours, we had reorganised the garage with what we were keeping, what we can get rid of when we come to boxing up the house in preparation for the renovation and we had further piles that were to be gifted, donated & dumped.
Two days on, I have gifted, donated & dumped & when I walked into the garage I immediately felt happy, calm and organised.
Thank you Kirsty!

Kirsty came round and we had a chat. I had no idea where to start, so we decided that my wardrobe would be a good place to start. I can't tell you how much of a difference it has made.
I was a bit wary of throwing things out at first, but I got the hang of it after a while. It's actually surprisingly therapeutic!
It used to be stuffed so full that I couldn't find anything. Now I can get ready in half the time, which has pleased my husband no end!
Kirsty is a Godsend!
My wardrobe was rammed with clothes, which I had convinced myself were essential! In just one afternoon it had been Kirstied! What seemed like such a daunting task became, dare I say it, almost enjoyable and soul cleansing.
I now have a clutter free, satisfying wardrobe. Not only can I get ready in half the time, due to actually being able to see my clothes but I smile when I open the door in the morning! Kirsty being there stopped me deliberating over each item and helped me make rational decisions on what should stay and what should go. I can’t wait to get her back to tackle the rest of my house,
I never realised how oppressive unnecessary stuff could be. I am now ready to say goodbye to my inner hoarder!
I'm sitting (rather smugly if the truth be told) breathing in the calm of my now decluttered kitchen having waved farewell to Kirsty Rickett, founder of A Tidy Life, A Tidy Mind. Combining her professional decluttering skills with a genuine love of order and tidiness, Kirsty brings a warmth and kindness to the job in hand, i.e. sorting out my rather cluttered, poorly laid out kitchen. 4 hours later - split into 2 x two hour sessions - long gone are the six opened and long-out-of-date cumin pots; trifle sponges various; an assortment of lidless Tupperware boxes; chipped plates; stained tea-towels; grubby placemats. All bagged up, removed from the premises and ready to be recycled. What's left behind is order, logic and a sense of everything being in the right place with space I didn't even know existed and a kitchen I've fallen back in love with. I now have a list of things I need to buy, some simple DIY tips and a few 'keep-on-top-of' tips. Move over facials, I'm all about a kitchen detox.
Kirsty is one of those people whom you don't really want to recommend, what you really want to do is to keep her as your own secret weapon in the art of organisation. But share her I must, just get booked in with her before there's a waiting list ..... ps does anyone want any in-date vanilla extract, I have 5 spare bottles!
When I first started life coaching sessions with Kirsty I was a little dubious as I wasn’t quite sure what would be involved.
When I was met at the door for our first session I was welcomed in with a warm and reassuring energy from Kirsty which immediately put me at ease.
The sessions were quite literally life changing - Kirsty has a wonderful way of helping me find the answers to my own questions I have about my life.
I would recommend these sessions to anyone, whether you are feeling lost or need someone to reassure you that you’re doing ok. It’s amazing how much you can find out about yourself by talking to someone who you trust but is also completely impartial to your life - that is what Kirsty does so well.
